초기 산울림은 상업밴드가 아니라 취미밴드로 낸 앨범들이라는게 놀랍죠. 1집에서 소녀라는 곡이 표절의혹도 있는데 상업적으로 낸 앨범도 아니고 취미로하는 형제 밴드가 표절할 이유도 없고. 저 시대에 음반판매나 저작권으로 돈을 벌 수 있는 환경도 아니었고. 6,70년대 영미권 비틀즈 지미핸드릭스 도어스 래드제플린같은 싸이키텔릭 메탈사운드에 비할바는 아니지만 비상업적인 취미 밴드라서 LSD나 마리화나도 없이 자기들만의 독특한 사운드가 가능했겠죠
